Um, is it bad that I'm looking forward to this? I mean, I know I'm a trekkie, but I've like never actually done anything more than rave about the TV series (and various movies). Oh well, what the hell. I might not be participating in NaNo again this year, but I damn well will be doing something for this. I've completed an InuYasha and a Harry Potter (yes, a Harry Potter of all things, and that which I stopped reading after the first 80 pages of Philosopher’s Stone) mini-bang. What's adding one more to this?

And I figure, thought I may not be contributing to the community with words, I will be dusting off my hung-up creation supplies and going for the Artist Sign-ups. Man oh man. I'm practically giddy about the prospect.

When I get bored and don't feel like doing homework, I sometimes draw graphs. Obviously this makes me a very cool person who y'all want to spend a lot of time with.

Anyway, I'm not the only one who plays Six Degrees of Separation when I watch TV or films, am I? It's my aim in life to connect everything I watch back to Doctor Who, so I not only play it, but I play it with A Purpose.

I should state, for the record, that this is all done without reference to IMDB. That's cheating. As a result it reflects the stuff I watch and the pop culture knowledge I have (ie: most of these things have spaceships). Also, BADGER is marked in pink because, for a country who lols about how much British shows like to reuse actors, Badger (from Firefly) is in EVERYTHING YOUR COUNTRY PRODUCES. He even gets his own mini sub graph in the bottom right because or else it would get (more) confusing.

I feel like I've added a bunch of people lately as well as still getting the occasional comment from lurkers apologising for lurking (don't worry, m'dears, you can't possibly be as creepy as I can be ;-) ). So HI, HOW ARE YOU? TELL ME A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF. WHAT IS THE ONE IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE MY LJ NOTE ABOUT YOU TO READ? (I love having a paid account.)

Do any lurkers want to make it official and take that HUGE, SCARY STEP into being friends? XD Or does anyone want to prod me and be all "I ADDED YOU THREE YEARS AGO, OPAL, WHY HAVE YOU NOT ADDED ME BACK?

In the interests of ~sharing~ I think if any of you want to LJ note me it should read "Loves Canada, maths, Rose/Cloen and would totally win a Darwin Award feeding a bear a sandwich AND IS PROUD OF THIS."

12. Had a productive day, ish. As well as posting new fic, I did the_spdn (which took A WHILE) and did some organising for the virtual series. And on that note, two things:

10. Because clearly I don't have enough to do, a(n edited) meme:
Pick one of my stories and I will tell you the first line or the premise, or both, depending on what comes to mind of its sequel. Even if I was never actually planning to write a sequel. Even if it already has a sequel -- I'll give you the first line of another version of its sequel!

It's been exciting to watch our newsletter grow in leaps and bounds over the past two and a half years, and we're grateful for each and every one of you!

That said, we have noticed that some members simply aren't posting much Doctor/Rose content anymore. With this in mind, we're announcing a restructuring of our watch list. Here's how it's going to work:

1. We will be doing a PERSONAL JOURNAL ONLY friends list cut on Monday, March 15 for prairie_team. If you have a COMMUNITY on our watch list THIS DOES NOT APPLY.
   
   
2. If you would like your PERSONAL JOURNAL to remain on our watch list, please leave us a comment on THIS POST along the lines of "I'd like to stay" or "Please keep me friended!" PLEASE NOTE: We will still cut you initially. DO NOT WORRY. :) We'll get you back on our list.
   
   
3. The process is going to take some time, and you may find that your journal is not added back right away. We ask that you wait at least three full days after the cut (and check to make sure you left us a comment here) before contacting us. If, after those three days, you haven't been put back on the watch list, please contact us and we'll fix it.
   
   
4. Removing your journal from prairie_team does not mean leaving the_spdn! We know there are lots of you who share in the Doctor/Rose love even if you aren't posting about them.
