Bad Wolf Bay

Does anyone else find it strange that there's a Bad Wolf Bay in the other universe when that universe has no Rose Tyler other than an annoying yipping dog belonging to Jackie's double?

Will Rose being the Bad Wolfby the way she returns from that universe?

Do you think the events of Army of Ghost/Doomsday was the fault of the Doctor and Rose?

It's probably not hard at all to say yeah the events of AoG/DD was their fault because they're the ones who so thoroughly miffed off Queen Victoria by their giddy and let's face it nonchalant attitudes when they were surrounded by people being killed by a werewolf. Rose's bet with the Doctor she could get Victoria to say she was not amused didn't help matters at all as I think it just irritated the Queen all the more and given how childish you might say our pair came across during the night it's little wonder they were banished after being honored by the Queen. And we all know Queen Victoria's irritation resulted in her starting the Torchwood Institution with one of its purposes being to keep an eye out for the Doctor should he ever return and I imagine that evolved to include any alien threat they discovered.

The Doctor has his happy ending with Rose, at least for her lifetime.
His next companion is his daughter, who he never knew, showing her his life and his joy for the universe.

My response:
Oh I could go for that! I really could as it'd give the Doctor and Rose her lifetime together and then with their daughter he wouldn't be so lonely anymore.

Anyone else find it ironic it's rumored that Peter Davison's daughter is rumored to be the one being considered for the role of Ten/Rose's daughter? I certainly do!

I grumbled here about Season 2 Torchwood airing on BBCAmerica nearly in synch with it airing in the UK because I figured we'd have to wait months to see Season 4 of Doctor Who but apparently that isn't the case as Sci Fi Channel has posted the news Doctor Who will return in April along with the first season of the Sarah Jane Adventures!!!

Honestly I am bad because I said I am going to curtail looking at spoilers for Season 4 and then low and behold someone posts on Youtube a Season 4 trailer that's going around in the UK.

There's a shot of ROSE in the trailer -- and oh my I think there will be a lovely trip back in time to ancient Rome! YES! I love the trips into the past if we can't get very alien enviroments and ancient Rome is something I definitely love the idea of!!!!

Ok I've been thinking about if Rose and the Doctor see each other again as we pretty much know it's going to happen during Season 4, how are they going to have any kind of time to speak two words to each other let alone finish what was started at Bad Wolf Bay? I'm a bit gloomy when it comes to seeing Rose again, especially after reading that Jack, Sarah Jane, Donna, and Martha would all be there too not to mentioned there's a rumor going around the creator of the Daleks, Davros, will return as the season's main villian and you know the Daleks aren't far behind if that's the case.

And then there's the fact that when Jack and Rose see one another again, I imagine there will be some heavy emotions going on between them since she thought he was dead all this time and doesn't know about his little immortality problem which she as Bad Wolf cause.

So yep someone tell me if there's even an offbest chance we're going to be satisfied with seeing Ten and Rose together again.

Torchwood Season 2 will air on BBC America on 2 week delay schedule behind the UK airing schedule.

Ugggggh, I'd rather have Doctor Who thank you very much than having flicking Torchwood at almost the same time as the UK does (no offense Torchwood fans)!

It sucks to have to wait until late summer to get Doctor Who in the US and then we have watch it on SciFi.

Hmmm there is one thing I am wondering about Torchwood Season 2 - will Jack display any ill effects from the torture he endured during the Year That Never Was?

David Tennant has denied the report he's leaving as Catherine Tate speculated.

I am so glad he's spoken out and not let this just going on. True he didn't say he'd stay on beyond the 2009 specials but he didn't say he's leaving either after the specials.

Thanks to neko_chan42's entry about this entry here I've seen more pictures of Billie back on the set of Doctor Who than I've ever seen before and I saw THANK YOU for all the lovely pics!

But you know what I am really wanting to see?

Well you can guess. . . a picture of Billie with David because honestly it'd make it all the more surreal that she's actually back while making it very real to me we are going to see Rose back on our screens.

Now I just wonder if they'll even film any scenes with her and David outside the studio because if they don't that'd be one way of keeping the camera from capturing a pic or zillion of them together.

A Theory I Am Not Fond of. . .

A current theory going on among some shippers at the moment is that Billie will be playing an alt!universe version of Rose instead of playing our Rose, and I mean our Rose in she who broke our hearts in Doomsday. Ugggh! I know Billie has made the statement she can't play Rose again and I just assumed her to mean she's grown as a person since then and so she can't go back to playing Rose as we last saw her in Doomsday. I assumed for her to play Rose again Rose would have had to changed and grown as a person as well.

But seriously I wouldn't be able to take them yanking us around but giving us Rose back and then having her be some alt!universe and what's more I'm not certain the Doctor could take it either. Although the alt!universe Rose thing would be just like the universe and it's unkind track record where he's concern. The universe generally does not cut the Doctor slack so if this an alt!universe Rose I guess there's no reason for it to start now.

And Rassilon, when did I get so cynical?!!

I don't know why but like sunnytyler001 I see a final closure coming for the Doctor and Rose with the news of Julie Gardner's departure from Doctor Who. I suspect one way or another they will cement things to where there can be no doubts the end has come.

This once again makes me fear we're soon going to lose Ten/David Tennant.

The Thing I Fear Most. . .

The thing I fear most besides RTD breaking my little shipper heart with Rose's return is the fact her appearance will mark the end of David Tennant's time as the Doctor. Sometime back I remember reading a quote from Bilie saying she'd love to make an appearance in David's last episode as the Doctor and I honestly fear that her coming back next season does indeed mark the end of his time with us. If it does I am going to be super sad and without a doubt I am going to cry like crazy as I just love David as the Doctor and at the moment I am having a hard time imaging anyone else as the Doctor.
